FIKA is a Swedish café located in Seoul, Korea, with the mission of acquainting
the local community with Swedish and Nordic culture.
They specialize in a range of Swedish-inspired culinary delights, from coffee brewed with 100% Swedish beans  to pastries and desserts crafted using authentic recipes and pure ingredients.
The café's interior design features Swedish illustrations and symbols, creating
an environment that immerses customers in Nordic culture.
FIKA not only provides delicious and health-conscious food but also strives to promote a deeper appreciation for Swedish traditions, offering an enriching cultural experience to visitors in Seoul.

I introduced Swedish culture still unfamiliar in Korea at the time by presenting it in a friendly and engaging way. To highlight the fika time tradition, I illustrated classic desserts such as Semla, Bulla, Princess cake, and Lingonberry jam for use on business cards and posters displayed in the cafe. I also designed Dala horse inspired mugs and linen towels printed with Swedish quotes and slogans, creating a cafe experience that conveyed the essence of Swedish culture.
